Ordering

How do I place an order?

Browse our books, add what you'd like to your cart, and check out. You'll see the full cost including shipping before you pay, and you'll get a confirmation email straight away.

What payment methods do you accept?

All major credit and debit cards, plus Apple Pay, Google Pay and Shop Pay. The full list is shown at checkout.

Can I change or cancel my order?

Contact us as soon as you can. We can usually make changes before an order has been despatched. After that, our returns process applies.

Our books

Are your books new?

Yes. Every book we sell is new and unread unless a listing explicitly says otherwise.

What is a special or collector's edition?

A special edition is a distinct print run with features the standard edition doesn't have — sprayed or stained edges, illustrated endpapers, alternative cover art, or a different binding. Where a book is a special edition, the product page lists exactly what makes it one.

How do you choose what to stock?

We're a curated shop, not a warehouse. We stock books we think are worth shelf space — bestsellers, award winners, and editions that are a pleasure to own.

Will you get a book back in stock?

Often, yes. Email us the title and we'll let you know if it's returning.

Delivery

How long does delivery take?

Delivery estimates are shown at checkout and start from despatch, not from when you order. See our shipping page for detail.

Do you ship internationally?

Yes, to a selected list of countries. Available destinations and rates are shown at checkout.

Will I pay customs charges?

International orders may attract import duties or taxes set by your country. These aren't included in what you pay us and are the recipient's responsibility.

Returns

Can I return a book if I change my mind?

Yes — unread books in original condition can be returned within 30 days. Contact us first so we can guide you through it.

What if my book arrives damaged?

Send us a photo within 7 days of delivery and we'll arrange a replacement or a full refund, including shipping.
